Kelly Wright FCCA

Kelly joined us in 1996 and trained with the firm, qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2002. She has particular expertise in the small business sector, where practical business support is as important as good accounting know-how. Kelly also specialises in pension scheme accounts and new business start-ups. Kelly was appointed a Director of the firm in 2007

Kerry Smith ACA

Kerry joined us in 1999 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005. She specialises in advisory services  for the Agricultural, Engineering, Construction and Transport sectors. She also leads work on company audits and ‘IR35’ personal service companys and is involved in share and business valuations. Kerry joined the board of Directors in 2007. 

John Simmons FCA FCCA

John joined the national firm Grant Thornton, in 1977 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981. He provides management and taxation advice to medium sized businesses specialising in Engineering, Construction, Transport, IT Services and Leisure sectors. He is also responsible for share and business valuations and for IT implementation within the company.

Phil Nevett FMAAT

Phil gained experience and qualification with national firm Grant Thornton. He runs a mixed client portfolio with particular interest in the Agricultural and Medical fields. He offers proactive and practical advice geared at helping clients grow and solving their business and financial problems.

Jo Carter FCCA CTA

Jo joined us in 1989 and qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1997. In 2004 she gained the highest tax qualification in the land, becoming a Chartered Tax Adviser. No surprise then that she is regularly called upon to advise on tax planning opportunities, including Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and the use of Trusts. Away from her tax specialism, Jo helps business start ups and has a portfolio of small business clients.
